On the internet, I see people cutting corners everywhere. I like to dedicate time to getting things right first, then launching an effective internet marketing campaign. So what does it take to get things right? Well I will list a number of important aspects of building a solid foundation: Use dedicated hosting instead of hosting your website on a shared server. Always encrypt information sent using top of the line SSL security. Research the market beforehand to find out whether your products are hot or not. Take time to optimize each web page, write each blog and each directory listing. Put in place systems that allow your customer to get a hold of you easily. Building a solid foundation is important, as you have the time now to make sure things are right. When you get busy, it is hard to dedicate time to development especially if capital is tied up in other places.
