Plan a Week - Sunday, 20th July, 2008

 

Three of the most important words you will ever read. Planning out each day, each week, each month and even each year is a very important key to your success.

In your weeks plan, you should incorporate three things:

  • ·         What you want to achieve
  • ·         What to eat
  • ·         Exercise

Every time you eat health, exercise or complete a beneficial task; you become one step closer to achieving your ultimate goal of success. In my opinion, the best way to plan is pen and paper and ticking off each task as you complete it.

Today I want to cover the ‘What to eat’ aspect. In terms of eating health, I would recommend eating 6 meals per day in the form of:

  • ·         Breakfast
  • ·         Morning tea
  • ·         Lunch
  • ·         Afternoon tea
  • ·         Dinner
  • ·         Pudding

Try to eat plenty of lean meat, fruit, vegetables, nuts, dairy products, cereals, wholegrain bread and drink plenty of water. The best method of sticking to a good eating program is to plan out your day the night before, and at the end of the day tick off all your meals.

My favourite meal of the day is to have a smoothie as they are relatively cheap and easy to make. Just add into a blender the following ingredients: Banana, Protein drink, Milk and Yoghurt. Mix up the concoction and voila, it is that easy.

So stay fit, stay health and plan your week!
